Round Braids / Flat Braids with Cable Ends

What are strands?

Round strands and flat strands, made from E-Cu round cable, are available in bare, tinned or silver-plated versions and comply with standards such as DIN 46438 and DIN 46444. These strands consist of individual wires with a diameter of 0.05 mm to 0.15 mm. The cross-sections vary from 2.5 mm² to 240 mm² and can be processed both individually and in multiple layers.

Customization options for the cable ends

The cable ends can be fitted with E-Cu sleeves or standardized tubular, compression or crimp cable lugs according to customer requirements. These cable lugs are crimped under high pressure without soldering to ensure a secure and reliable connection. In addition, we offer the production of stranded wire strips without sleeves, where the ends are welded, perforated and tinned.

Application areas and flexibility

Stranded wire connections are used wherever a high degree of flexibility is required in all planes of movement. Their special design allows them to be used in applications where mobility and durability are crucial.

Isolation options

All strands can be supplied both with and without insulation. This adaptability ensures that they are suitable for a wide range of applications, from electrical connections to special industrial requirements.

Manufacture and quality

Round and flat strands are manufactured to the highest quality standards to ensure optimum performance and durability. Our products undergo strict quality controls to ensure that they meet our customers' requirements.

Conclusion

Round stranded wires and flat stranded wires with cable lugs offer a versatile and flexible solution for numerous applications in the electrical and mechanical engineering industry. Their adaptability, combined with high quality and reliability, makes them the preferred choice for demanding connections.
