Stretching Tape Welded or Riveted

Slat tapes are flexible connections that are made of several, stacked copper foils. Their high flexibility depends primarily on the strength and strength of the individual lamellae (0.04mm to 0.7mm) as well as the design and method of manufacture. The ends of the bands are connected by riveting or welding to compact fittings.

Laminated straps are mainly used to avoid mechanical damage everywhere where appliances and machines are subject to shock and vibration, and where they cannot be connected rigidly. Furthermore it is possible to compensate thermal expansions and dimension errors which occur during assembly.

In addition to a bare version, the contact surfaces or the surfaces of the entire copper strips can be tinned or silvered. Drilling, threading or further milling work are done according to your wishes!
